Manufacturing & quality control
A factory photo proves very little. What matters to procurement is whether your written specification survives contact with the production line — through material intake, forming, finishing, coating and packing. Here is exactly how we control that, stage by stage, and how you can verify it independently.
The facts, in one table.
We publish verifiable profile data rather than marketing adjectives. Ask for the supporting documents for any line below when you request a quote.
| Item | Detail | Verification you can request |
|---|---|---|
| Brand | SUMEIGUAN — cookware manufacturing & export | Business registration document |
| Established | Confirm year | Business licence |
| Production base | Confirm city / province | Factory address & production-floor video call |
| Facility area | Confirm m² | Site visit or video walk-through |
| Monthly capacity | Confirm pcs / month | Capacity statement on quotation |
| Product scope | Carbon steel, tri-ply stainless, cast iron, aluminum nonstick, titanium | Sample & spec sheet per line |
| Main export markets | Confirm markets | Test reports per destination market |
| Nearest port | Confirm port | Freight quotation to your destination |
Five process stages under one quality system.
Stamping & forming
Press and spin forming of carbon steel, stainless and aluminum bodies, with dimensional tolerances controlled against the approved sample.
Polishing & finishing
Mirror, satin and brushed surface programmes, plus edge deburring and handle preparation before assembly.
Coating & enamelling
Nonstick and enamel coating lines with adhesion, thickness and appearance checks against the sealed sample.
Welding & assembly
Riveted or welded handle attachment, lid fitting and component assembly, with pull-strength and stability checks.
Packing & loading
Retail cartons, gift packaging and FBA preparation, with carton marking and container loading plans verified before sealing.
Documentation & certification
Test reports, mill certificates and compliance declarations packaged for your destination market and sales channel.
Four inspection gates, in order.
Each gate can stop a batch. The cost of catching a defect rises sharply with every stage it survives.
Incoming material
Steel grade confirmation against mill certificates, coating batch documentation, handle and rivet component checks.
In-line production
Dimensional tolerance, wall thickness, weld and rivet integrity, and surface preparation before coating begins.
Coating & finish
Adhesion testing, coating thickness measurement and visual comparison against the buyer-approved sealed sample.
Pre-shipment
AQL sampling, packing and carton verification, drop testing and marking check. Third-party inspection is welcome at this gate.
What your retail channel will ask for.
Mass retailers, supermarket chains and larger importers increasingly require factory social-compliance documentation before onboarding a supplier.
| Audit / certification | What it covers | Who typically requires it |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001 | Factory quality management system | Retail buyers assessing supplier reliability |
| BSCI | Labour conditions and social compliance | European supermarkets, mass-market retail |
| Sedex / SMETA | Ethical trade audit, four-pillar | UK and EU retail programmes |
| WCA | Workplace conditions assessment | US and EU importers |
| NSF / NSF ANSI | Commercial food equipment and materials | US foodservice and restaurant supply channels |
Audit coverage varies by production line and by SKU. Tell us which standard your channel requires and we will confirm current status and share the applicable report for your review.
From the loading dock to your 3PL.
Logistics is where a good unit price turns into a bad landed cost. We plan the container, not just the carton.
- Consolidated loading — mixed SKUs planned to fill a container efficiently instead of paying LCL rates on air.
- Incoterms flexibility — FOB, CIF or DDP depending on how much of the chain you want to own.
- Documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and test reports prepared to your broker's format.
- Landed-cost modelling — we help you build the full picture including duty treatment for your HTS code, so your margin is calculated on reality.
See the line, not a brochure.
Canton Fair runs twice a year, and we welcome factory visits and live production-floor video calls at any time. Both are the fastest way to answer the only question that really matters about a supplier: can they hold a specification at volume.
